🌋 Volcano Cake with Cream Cheese
👩🍳 Preparation:
- Prepare the filling:
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, yogurt, sugar, cornstarch, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Set aside or chill briefly.
- Make the cake batter:
- Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy.
- Add oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Assemble the cake:
- Pour half the chocolate batter into a greased cake pan.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture gently in the center.
- Cover with the remaining chocolate batter.
- Bake:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake for 35–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the edge (not the center).
- Decorate:
- Once cooled, drizzle with melted chocolate or ganache.
- Sprinkle with crushed Oreos or dust with cocoa powder.
