1. Prep the ribs
- Remove the silver membrane from the back of the ribs.
- Pat dry and rub generously with the spice mix.
- Let sit at room temperature for 30–60 minutes.
2. Bake low and slow
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet, cover tightly with foil.
- Bake for 2½–3 hours until tender.
3. Sauce and finish
- Remove foil and brush ribs with BBQ sauce.
- Bake uncovered at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes or broil for 5 minutes until caramelized.
4. Rest and serve
- Let ribs rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice and serve with extra sauce on the side.
