🍛 Beef and Bell Pepper Stir-Fry over Rice

📝 Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 yellow or orange bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Cooked white rice (for serving)

👨‍🍳 Method:

  1. Prepare the rice: Cook white rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Cook the beef: In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add vegetables: Stir in garlic, carrots, and bell peppers. Cook for 5–7 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Make the sauce: Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, tomato paste, sugar, and black pepper. Stir well.
  5. Thicken the sauce: Pour in the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the meat and vegetables.
