📝 Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow or orange bell pepper, chopped
- 1 medium carrot, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Cooked white rice (for serving)
👨🍳 Method:
- Prepare the rice: Cook white rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- Cook the beef: In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add vegetables: Stir in garlic, carrots, and bell peppers. Cook for 5–7 minutes until slightly tender.
- Make the sauce: Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, tomato paste, sugar, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Thicken the sauce: Pour in the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the meat and vegetables.
- Serve: Spoon the stir-fry over a bowl of hot white rice. Enjoy!
