🍲 Stewed Okra and Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Sauté Aromatics
    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Add onion and garlic, cook until soft and fragrant.
  2. Add Tomatoes and Okra
    • Stir in diced tomatoes and sliced okra.
    • Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  3. Simmer
    • Cover and simmer on medium-low heat for 20–25 minutes until okra is tender and flavors meld.
  4. Serve
    • Serve hot with rice, cornbread, or grilled meat.
