- Preheat the Oven
- Set oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Layer the Dish
- Lightly oil a baking dish.
- Spread half the onion slices on the bottom.
- Arrange sardines snugly in a single layer over the onions.
- Add Flavor
- Sprinkle garlic and salt over the fish.
- Pour lemon juice evenly across the top.
- Lay lemon slices over the sardines.
