🔥 Method:

1. Cook the bacon:

  • Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add a little olive oil and lay the bacon flat.
  • Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side until crispy and golden.
  • For extra crispiness, press the bacon with a spatula or pan lid while cooking.

2. (Optional) Fry the egg:

  • Crack the egg into the pan once the bacon is done.
  • Fry until the white is set and the yolk is still runny (or cook longer if you prefer it firm).

3. Prepare the bread:

  • Lightly butter the slices if you like.
  • For extra flavor, press the bread into the bacon fat in the pan for a few seconds.

4. Assemble:

  • Lay the bacon on one slice of bread.
  • Add the fried egg on top (if using).
  • Drizzle with brown sauce or ketchup.
