- In a large bowl, beat eggs.
- Add ground beef, pork, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce, soaked bread, and sautéed veggies.
- Mix thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
- Shape & Wrap
- Form meat mixture into a loaf in a 13×9-inch casserole dish.
- Lay bacon strips crosswise over the loaf, tucking ends underneath.
- Bake
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 1½ hours or until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with Sauce
- Mix ketchup and paprika for a smoky glaze.
- Serve warm with mashed potatoes, green beans, or cornbread.
