🧂 Ingredients (Ma9adir)
- 500g green beans, trimmed
- 400g potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1–2 onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, grated
- 1 can chopped tomatoes (400g)
- 2 bay leaves
- 50ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
🍳 Method of Preparation (Tariqat Sti3mal)
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Sauté onions and garlic until soft and fragrant.
- Add potatoes, stir for 2–3 minutes.
- Add green beans, chopped tomatoes, bay leaves, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in water just enough to cover the vegetables.
- Cover and simmer for 30–40 minutes until potatoes and beans are tender.
- Adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley, and serve hot with crusty bread or rice.
