🎂 Ingredients
For the Chocolate Cake Layers:
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 75g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 200g granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
For the Filling & Frosting:
- 200g Ferrero Rocher chocolates (crushed)
- 150g Oreo cookies (crushed)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Extra Ferrero Rocher & Oreos for decoration
🍰 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix sugar, eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
- Divide batter between pans and bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream on one cake layer, sprinkle with crushed Ferrero Rocher and Oreos.
- Add second layer, cover with remaining whipped cream, and decorate with extra candies.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
