  • ¾ cup whole milk

  • 1¼ cups granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp salt
  • ~5 cups all-purpose flour

Filling:

  • 12 tbsp butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 12 slices thick-cut bacon (baked but not crispy, then chopped)

Frosting:

  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp maple syrup

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Bake bacon at 375°F for 15 mins, chop once cooled.
  2. Activate yeast in warm water with sugar, let sit 5–10 mins.
  3. Mix in milk, butter, sugar, egg, and salt. Gradually add flour until dough pulls away from bowl.
  4. Knead until stretchy, let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour.
  5. Roll dough into a 15×26″ rectangle, spread butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, and bacon.
