🔥 Instructions
Marinate (Optional but Recommended)
Toss chicken with ½ cup BBQ sauce.
Let it marinate for 30 minutes or up to 4 hours in the fridge.
Bake
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Place chicken skin-side down and bake for 25 minutes.
Flip & Baste
Flip chicken over and brush with remaining BBQ sauce.
Bake another 25 minutes.
Broil for Caramelization
Turn oven to broil.
Baste one more time and broil for 3–5 minutes until the sauce is sticky and slightly charred.
Rest & Serve
Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
