1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 tbsp butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Creamy Alfredo:
1 lb pasta twists (rotini or fusilli)
6 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup milk, if needed to thin
In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak in a single layer (work in batches if necessary). Sear for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
Return the steak to the skillet and toss with the garlic butter. Remove from heat and set aside.
Cook the pasta twists according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
