Grilled Beef Short Ribs


👨‍🍳 Preparation Method:

  1. Prepare the Marinade:

    • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, grated onion, pear, green onion, sesame seeds, and black pepper.

  2. Marinate the Ribs:

    • Rinse the short ribs and pat them dry.

    • Place them in a large zip-lock bag or a deep dish.

    • Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight for maximum flavor.

  3. Grill the Ribs:

    • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

    • Remove ribs from the marinade and let excess drip off.

    • Grill each side for about 3–4 minutes, until charred and cooked through.

    • Brush with marinade during grilling for extra flavor (optional – only if the marinade is boiled first to be safe).

  4. Serve:

    • Serve hot with steamed rice, kimchi, or Korean side dishes (banchan).
