Grilled Garlic Chili Squid

Ingredients

  • 500g fresh squid (cleaned and scored)
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil (for that authentic Bengali aroma)
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder (or use fresh green chilies for extra heat)
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

🔥 Instructions

  1. Marinate squid with garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, salt, lemon juice, and mustard oil. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Grill on high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly charred and tender.
  3. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with lemon wedges.
