🍲 Instructions
Brown the Meat:
In a large pot, heat oil and brown the meat on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Sauté the Veggies:
In the same pot, sauté onions until translucent. Add flour if using, and stir to coat.
Simmer the Stew:
Return meat to the pot. Add potatoes, carrots, broth, salt, pepper, and herbs.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until meat is tender.
Finish & Serve:
Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve hot with crusty bread or soda bread.
