- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sautรฉ sausage in olive oil over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles. Cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant.
- Pour in cream or tomato sauce, stir, and simmer for 5โ7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked pasta, Parmesan, and any optional extras. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes if desired.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or extra cheese.
