  1. Mix Dry Ingredients In a medium bowl, combine flour, cheese, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and melted butter.
  3. Combine Pour the wet mixture into the dry and stir until just combined. Gently fold in corn and jalapeños.
  4. Heat Oil In a heavy pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the Nuggets Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil in batches. Fry for 2–3 minutes per batch until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve Garnish with parsley and serve immediately with ranch, honey mustard, or queso dip.
