- Prepare the Meat Filling:
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- SautΓ© onion until soft, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground meat, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook until browned.
- Stir in grated carrot and parsley. Let the filling cool.
- Make the Potato Dough:
- In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes with flour, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Knead into a soft dough. Add more flour if itβs too sticky.
- Shape the Pancakes:
- Dust your hands with flour. Take a scoop of dough and flatten it into a disk.
- Place a spoonful of meat filling in the center, then fold the dough around it to seal.
- Flatten into a thick pancake and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Pan-Fry to Perfection:
- Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Fry each pancake for 3β4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels.
