- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1½ cups breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Olive oil (for frying)
- Cooked spaghetti (for serving)
👨🍳 Preparation Steps
- Prepare the Chicken
- Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and oregano.
- Fry the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Transfer to a baking tray.
- Add Sauce and Cheese
- Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken piece.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve
- Place each chicken piece over a bed of cooked spaghetti.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
