Savory Pepper Steak Skillet with Garlic Gravy Sauce Recipe

- Prep the Steak Toss sliced steak with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 15–30 minutes.
- Sear the Veggies In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add bell peppers and onions. Sauté until softened and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Steak Add another tbsp of butter to the skillet. Sear steak slices until browned and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes. Combine with sautéed veggies.
- Make the Garlic Gravy Push meat and veggies to one side of the skillet. Add remaining butter and minced garlic. Once fragrant, sprinkle in flour and stir to form a roux. Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring. Add Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine and Serve Mix everything together in the skillet. Let simmer for 5 minutes so flavors meld. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.
