Shrimps in Culichi Salsa
👨🍳 Preparation Steps
- Roast the peppers
- Char poblano and serrano peppers over flame or in oven until skin blisters. Peel and deseed.
- Make the salsa
- Blend roasted peppers, onion, garlic, crema/yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Cook the shrimp
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté shrimp until pink and cooked through (about 2–3 minutes per side).
- Combine and simmer
- Pour the green salsa over shrimp in the skillet. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Serve
- Garnish with cheese if desired. Serve with rice, tortillas, or crusty bread.
