🍳 Instructions:

  1. Drain the squid in a colander for 15–20 minutes to reduce excess water during cooking.
  2. Heat oil in a pan or wok. Add garlic and chili, sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce and sugar, stir for 2 minutes.
  4. Add squid, cook for 10–15 minutes until tender. Stir occasionally.
  5. Add ketchup, mix well until evenly coated.
  6. Turn off heat and serve hot with rice or noodles.
