🔥 Method

  1. Sear the beef: Heat oil in a pot. Add beef, cumin, turmeric, and tomato paste. Stir and brown the meat.
  2. Add aromatics: Toss in onions and tomatoes. Stir well, cover, and simmer on medium heat for 2 hours.
  3. Spice it up: Add berbere, garlic, and butter. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Serve hot: Spoon over injera or rice, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
